Capelle aan den IJssel, March 8th – Alderman Eric Faassen (Economic Affairs) officially welcomes TWTG to the Rivium area, “I think it’s great that we can offer a nice place to a company with such smart, young inventors as TWTG have in-house.” he says. To celebrate, TWTG staff ate cake together with a delegation of the Capelle-municipality.
CEO Goran Gavric says: “We are growing vastly, so we needed a suitable space to fit in and to enable further (international) growth. The Rivium-area is perfectly suited to do this and to invite our market leading clients. The new office is a new home for the family we are”. The Rivium-area is directly attached to the A16-highway and connected by multiple means of transportation such as watertaxi and a fully autonomous connection between the new office and subway-stop Kralingse Zoom. Though, still closely attached to the Rotterdam innovation eco-system.
Economic engine of Europe
“Rotterdam is one of the fastest moving cities in Europe and a lot of fantastic companies are based in this area. Nested deeply within the Metropolitan Area Rotterdam-The Hague, we feel our new headquarters reflects the TWTG brand which characterizes itself by solid innovation and being a fast mover.” says Nick Kiran, Marketing Lead (TWTG). Faassen adds: “Rivium offers fantastic possibilities. It’s close to the Port of Rotterdam, airport, world class universities and defines itself as the European economic engine. We, as municipality of Capelle, are really proud that TWTG is settled here.”
HQ with a view
“Our staff is defined by its resilience. They immediately swapped in the subway of the city center for bikes. They see we don’t have a Biergarten-backyard anymore, so we’ve claimed the terrace with a view over the water as our own venue and summer BBQ’s will follow as soon as the weather turns.” Dimer Schaefer, COO, concludes.
