TWTG and Badotherm agree Partnership for LoRaWAN Pressure Sensor Development. The next generation of wireless pressure sensors.
Rotterdam, 1st July 2021. With the intent to bring both of their capabilities to bear, TWTG and Badotherm have joined forces to develop a wireless IoT sensor for pressure measurement. TWTG’s expertise lies in the development of Industrial-IoT hardware for Industry 4.0 customers, for customers who want to automate condition-based monitoring, such as 400 year old Tank Storage company Vopak. Badotherm is well known in the industry for their heavy duty industrial pressure gauges and their diaphragm seal technology applied to pressure transmitters. Badotherm supplies solutions internationally, based on the high demands of the petro-chemical industry. Having served this sector for more than 50 years, Badotherm is used to engineering the right pressure measurement solutions for the specific application and customer requirements that are needed in this industry.
The NEON pressure sensor will be one more addition to TWTG’s existing NEON product line, to allow customers to benefit from a large range of wireless products, all communicating via LoRaWAN and compliant with IECEx certifications. TWTG and Badotherm bring together the best of both worlds, connecting the traditional, proven pressure gauge technology with the latest developments in a wireless I-IoT sensor.
The product is currently under development and site tests with selected customers are planned for the end of 2021.
